Saucepan Scotchies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Melt margarine in saucepan; remove from heat.
    Stir in brown sugar until well mixed.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Mix in vanilla, flour and baking powder; stir until smooth.
    Add nuts; mix lightly.
    Smooth batter in greased oblong pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes, or until lightly browned.
    Do not overbake!
