Pecan Snowballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla.
    Sift 2 cups flour and salt.
    Blend thoroughly.
    Add pecans; shape into a 1-inch ball. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Cool.
    Roll in powdered sugar.
    Makes 6 dozen.
