Company Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 beaten egg yolks
    1 (12 oz.) carton (1 1/2 c.) cream-style cottage cheese
    3/4 c. milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1/2 tsp. ground allspice
    1/4 tsp. mace
    1/8 tsp. cloves
    2 c. soft bread cubes (3 slices)
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. whole cranberry sauce
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, combine egg yolks, cottage cheese, milk, 1/2 cup of the sugar, the butter or margarine, allspice, mace, cloves and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
    Stir in bread cubes and raisins. Turn into 8 x 1 1/2-inch round baking dish.
    Spoon cranberry sauce atop.
    Beat egg whites until peaks form (tips curl over). Gradually add the remaining 1/4 cup sugar, beating until stiff peaks form (tips stand straight).
    Spread over cranberry sauce. Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
