Sausage Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

16 small link pork sausage (about 1 lb.)
1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
1/2 medium sweet red pepper, chopped
3 c. cooked long grain rice
4 to 5 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen corn, thawed
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. dried basil
1 c. soft bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation

Place sausage on rack in baking pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Cut into 1-inch pieces; set aside in a skillet.
Saute peppers in oil for 3 minutes.
Place in a 3-quart casserole.
Add sausage and the next 8 ingredients.
Combine bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle on top of casserole.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
