Creeping Crust Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
2 c. fruit (berries, peaches or apricots)
1 c. or less sugar
Preparation

Melt butter in an 8 x 12-inch baking dish.
Mix flour, 1 cup sugar and baking powder; add milk and mix.
Spoon over melted butter.
Heat fresh or canned fruit with sugar, adjusting less sugar if fruit is canned.
Pour over dough.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven about 30 minutes until crust is golden brown.
Crust will rise to the top.
Serve warm or cold.
