Fried Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 fryer, cut up
12 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp. honey
3/4 lb. shortening (Crisco)
flour to coat
Preparation

Mix milk, egg and honey in a small bowl.
Melt shortening in chicken fryer or iron skillet until hot.
Dip chicken in milk mixture, then roll in flour until well coated.
Place in hot shortening until golden brown on all sides.
After turning over, reduce heat and cook slowly until tender.
