Sussex County Overnight Pone(My Mother'S Recipe, Anna Otwell Elliott) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. white water, ground cornmeal
    1 handful salt
    2 c. dark brown sugar
    3/4 c. molasses
    1 pt. flour (2 c.)
    4 to 5 qt. boiling water
Preparation
    Pour 4 quarts boiling water on meal and salt.
    Mix well and let cool a little.
    Thin with water to the consistency of cornmeal muffins.
