Easy Perfection Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon flavored jello
    2 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    6 or 7 small green onions, snipped
    1 small jar pimentos
    1 lb. can sauerkraut
Preparation
    Place contents of jello in 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf dish.
    Add 2 cups boiling water and stir to dissolve gelatin.
    Add vinegar and 12 to 15 ice cubes.
    Stir constantly until gelatin begins to thicken (about 3 minutes).
    Remove any unmelted ice. Snip into partially set gelatin the tops of 6 or 7 small green onions and add pimentos.
    Cut through the contents of one can of sauerkraut to gelatin.
    Stir gently to distribute vegetables. Chill until set (about 4 hours or overnight).
    Unmold onto crisp greens on a serving platter.
    Garnish.
    May serve with horseradish mayo.
    Stir 1 teaspoon horseradish into 1 cup mayonnaise as dressing.
    Serves 8 to 10.
