Cheese Wafers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1/4 tsp. red pepper
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt, nuts, pepper and cheese in mixing bowl; add butter that has been softened.
    Beat well.
    Divide dough in half; shape each half into 10-inch roll.
    Wrap in waxed paper and chill for at least 2 hours.
    Slice rolls into 1/4-inch slices and place on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Yields about 6 dozen.
