Oven Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. Potato Buds
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) broiler/fryer chicken, cut up
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Melt shortening in rectangular pan in oven. Mix potatoes, cheese, salt and pepper.
    Dip chicken into egg.
    Roll in potato mixture.
    Place chicken, skin side up, in pan.
    Bake uncovered until done, about 1 hour.
