Cobb Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sliced bacon
    1 large ripe avocado
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 medium size head iceberg lettuce, thinly shredded
    6 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. each: garlic powder and freshly ground pepper
    3 Tbsp. chopped chives
    1/2 c. salad oil
    2/3 c. (about 3 oz.) finely crumbled Blue cheese
    1 large tomato, seeded and chopped
    1 1/2 c. diced, cooked chicken or turkey
    2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
    watercress sprigs (optional)
Preparation
    In wide frying pan over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp. Lift out, drain and crumble.
    Set aside.
    Pit, peel and dice avocado.
    Moisten avocado with lemon juice and set aside.
