Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. summer squash or 2 cans squash
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 stick margarine (for topping)
    cracker crumbs or stuffing mix
    1 green pepper
    1 can Cheddar cheese soup
    bacon bits
Preparation
    Cook squash, onion and green pepper together.
    Stir once in a while and mash as you stir.
    Pour into a casserole.
    Spread Cheddar cheese soup over top.
    Sprinkle bacon bits on top of cheese.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
    Melt margarine in a saucepan and pour in stuffing mix.
    Combine and sprinkle on top of casserole and bake 5 more minutes.
