Mexican Yuletide Cookies(Very Good Christmas Cookie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine (soft)
    3/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. uncooked oats
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 c. chopped nutmeats
Preparation
    Beat butter until creamy.
    Gradually add sugar, beating until fluffy.
    Blend in vanilla; add flour to creamed mixture and blend well.
    Stir in oats and nutmeats.
    Shape dough to form 1-inch balls.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake in preheated oven, 325\u00b0, for 20 to 25 minutes.
    While warm, sift confectioners sugar over cookies.
