Turkey Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 green pepper (1 c. optional)
    2 lb. ground turkey
    1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    1 tsp. garlic powder or minced garlic
    1 (4 oz.) can mild green chilies, drained and chopped
    2 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed (optional)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 medium onion, finely chopped (1/2 c., I use onion flakes)
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 c. chicken broth (1 can)
Preparation
    Heat oil in large saucepan over medium heat.
    Add onion, green pepper and garlic; cook, stirring often, until onion is soft, about 6 minutes.
    Add turkey, stirring and breaking up meat with wooden spoon until meat changes color.
