Butterscotch Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. or 2 c. butterscotch bits or chocolate chips
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. chow mein noodles
    1 c. salted peanuts
Preparation
    Melt butterscotch in double boiler over boiling water.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in peanuts and chow mein noodles.
    Drop by teaspoons onto wax paper.
    Let stand twenty minutes, until firm. Makes about 36 pieces.
