Orange Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    orange rind of 1 orange
    1 c. seedless raisins
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp. double-acting baking powder
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Dissolve soda in buttermilk.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and cinnamon.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg and orange rind and beat until fluffy.
    Gradually add flour mixture, alternating with buttermilk mixture.
    Stir in raisins.
    Pour into greased and floured 8-inch square pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
    Cool 15 minutes. Spread with orange glaze while still warm.
