Gravy Baked Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 pork chops (1/2 inch thick)
    1 c. cream of chicken or mushroom soup
    1 small can evaporated milk
Preparation
    Salt and pepper pork chops to taste; brown chops in shortening.
    Place chops in baking dish.
    Pour around the chops a mixture of 1 cup soup, 1 cup milk and 1/3 cup water.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes until chops are tender.
