Sweet Dill Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. salt
    3 qt. sliced unpeeled cucumbers
    1 large onion, sliced
    3/4 to 1 c. minced fresh dill
Preparation
    In a saucepan combine sugar, vinegar, water and salt.
    Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute.
    In a large glass bowl combine cucumbers, onion and dill and pour cooked mixture over.
    Cool, cover and refrigerate at least 3 days before serving.
    Stir occasionally.
