Pasta Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. olive oil
1/2 lb. bacon
1 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 c. celery, chopped
1 c. meatless spaghetti sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 qt. warm water
1 (15 oz.) can cannellini (white beans with liquid)
1 1/2 c. tiny shell or bow pasta
Parmesan, freshly grated
Preparation

In large Dutch oven, brown the bacon, onion, garlic and celery in olive oil.
Add the sauce, salt and pepper; simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the warm water, beans and pasta.
Bring to a boil for 10 minutes; reduce and simmer an additional 15 minutes.
Stir frequently.
Serve with lots of cheese.
Serves 6 to 8.
