Baked Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 t. salt
1/4 c. sugar
3 c. scalded milk
1 t. vanilla extract
Nutmeg (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. In a large bowl, combine eggs, salt and sugar. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly. Add vanilla. Pour into a glass or Corning Ware baking dish. Sprinkle with nutmeg, if desired. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until a knife inserted in center of custard comes out clean.
