Gingersnaps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. molasses
1 full c. melted shortening
1 egg
2 tsp. soda
3 tsp. hot water (on soda)
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cream of tartar
3 c. flour, sifted
Preparation
-
Mix in order given.
Roll teaspoon of dough in a ball and press out thin with a fork.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
