Apricot Oatmeal Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. flour
1 1/4 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. margarine, melted
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (10 oz.) jar apricot preserves
1/2 c. coconut
Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients and blend.
Add margarine and vanilla.
Mix until crumbly.
Reserve 1 cup.
Press remaining ingredients into greased 13-inch pan.
Spread preserves to within 1/4-inch of edge.
Sprinkle with reserved crumbs and coconut. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until light brown.
Cut when cool.
