Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. fresh broccoli
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 bay leaf
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese, divided
Preparation
    Wash and then steam broccoli approximately 8 minutes.
    Saute onion and bay leaf until onion is clear.
    Discard bay leaf.
    Heat milk and thicken with flour.
    Add chicken broth and seasonings. Add broccoli and onion, then half the grated cheese.
    Cook 3 to 5 minutes, transfer to oven casserole.
    Top with remaining cheese. Heat in medium oven just until cheese melts.
    Serves 4.
