Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) bag red beans
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 pod garlic, chopped
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 lb. smoked sausage, chopped
    1 lb. ham, cubed
    rice
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients and put into crock-pot.
    Cook on low all day (8 hours).
    Have plenty of water (to top ring of crock-pot).
    You can add hot pepper if you like a hot taste.
    Add salt and black pepper to taste.
    Brown beans can be used.
    Use brown or white rice.
    Boil according to package directions.
    Serve over rice.
