Easy Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    onions
    buttermilk
    self-rising flour
    oil
Preparation
    Slice the onions and separate into rings.
    Place in a container and cover with buttermilk.
    Cover tightly and marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
    To cook, shake gently to remove excess buttermilk and dredge in flour.
    Fry in a skillet or deep-fry until golden brown.
    Drain on paper towels.
