Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. soda
    1/4 c. Karo
    1/2 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. pecans, toasted
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Combine sugar, soda, syrup and milk and cook.
    Stir until sugar is dissolved.
    Cook to soft ball.
    Add vanilla, pecans and butter.
    Stir until smooth; drop onto wax paper.
