Mattie Albritton Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. cocoa
4 Tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs, separated (use egg whites for meringue)
1 baked pie shell
Preparation

Combine sugar, cocoa, eggs, flour and milk in top of double boiler.
(May use thick saucepan on low heat, stirring frequently.)
Cook until thickened.
Add butter or margarine and vanilla.
Pour into baked pie shell. Add meringue to top and brown slightly.
Let cool and serve.
