Spanish Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. buttermilk or add 2 tsp. vinegar to sweet milk
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix first 6 ingredients thoroughly and remove 1 cup of mixture to use as the topping.
    Set aside.
    Add 4 remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
    Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan, sprinkling on topping mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes until lightly browned.
