Light-As-A-Feather Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 tsp. ginger
    1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 to 2/3 c. oil
    2 eggs
    1 1/3 c. molasses
    1/2 c. boiling water
    Lemon Sauce
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt, soda, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon and cloves into large bowl.
    Stir in enough oil to make mixture crumbly.
    Add eggs; beat well.
    Combine molasses and boiling water in bowl; mix well.
    Add 3/4 cup molasses mixture to flour mixture; beat until smooth.
    Add remaining molasses mixture, stirring just until well mixed.
    Pour into greased 8-inch square baking pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until gingerbread tests done.
    Serve warm with Lemon Sauce.
