Lacy-Thin Hoe Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. Sconyers self-rising meal
water (enough to make cornmeal like thick soup)
approximately 2 tsp. cooking oil (just enough to cover iron griddle)
Preparation

Put oil on a round iron griddle and heat on high to get griddle hot, then put on low heat.
Mix just enough water with cornmeal to make it soupy thick to pour on a hot griddle.
Pour a thin layer of batter on griddle and cook slowly.
