Cornbread, Golden - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. self-rising meal
    1 c. flour
    1 egg
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    1/3 c. oil
Preparation
    Put self-rising white or yellow meal in a bowl with self-rising flour.
    Stir in egg.
    Pour in buttermilk and add salt.
    Then add 1 cup of water or until mix is smooth.
    Pour into a well-oiled bread pan.
    Bake the mix until it turns yellow.
    Then turn oven to broil. When crust is light brown or golden, bread is done.
