John'S Ribs #2 - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 slab pork ribs
1 onion, diced
2 bay leaves
2 Tbsp. grated fresh ginger
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 tsp. vinegar
2 tsp. oyster sauce
Preparation

Trim excess fat from ribs.
Cut into single bone.
Cut into squares, 2 x 2-inch size.
Put ribs in deep frying pan.
Add the rest of the ingredients except the bay leaves.
Mix well by hand so that all the meat is well seasoned.
Put 2 bay leaves on top of meat.
Cover and cook on low heat until meat is simmering.
Mix again and separate each piece from each other.
Turn heat to medium and cook for 1 hour or until the meat is tender.
Take cover off and continue cooking until only oil is left.
Drain fat.
Serve hot.
