Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raw rice, cooked
    1 c. onions
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1 large can tomatoes
    salt
    3 Tbsp. green pepper
    2 whole cloves
    1 large bay leaf
    2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter.
    Add chopped green pepper.
    Add cooked rice.
    Salt to taste, bay leaf and cloves.
    Add tomatoes.
    Simmer 15 or 20 minutes.
    Take out bay leaf and cloves.
