Caramel Crackers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (9 oz. each) boxes Ritz Bits
1 c. dry roasted peanuts
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Heat oven to 250\u00b0 and combine crackers and nuts in a large greased shallow baking pan.
In saucepan bring butter, sugar and syrup to a boil.
Cook 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and add vanilla and soda. Pour caramel mixture over crackers and nuts. Stir well.
Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Pour on waxed paper and let cool.
Then break apart.
