Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 c. oleo
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond
    3 1/4 c. unsifted flour (maybe less)
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream sugar and oleo; add egg and flavoring.
    Mix thoroughly. Sift dry ingredients together and stir in.
    Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours.
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Divide dough in half and roll on lightly floured pastry sheet.
    Roll thin but thick enough to pick up design of cookie cutter.
    Cut as many cookies from each rolling as possible.
    The least amount of working with dough gives the best cookies.
    Bake 9 to 10 minutes or until delicately golden.
    Don't space too close on pan.
