Orange-Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. coarsely chopped fresh cranberries
1/4 c. water
1 c. orange juice
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine sugar and water in medium sized saucepan.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until sugar dissolves.
Cook over low heat an additional 5 minutes, continuing to stir.
Remove from heat. Add butter and stir until melted.
Cool slightly.
Add orange juice and eggs.
Blend well.
