Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
    1 medium chopped onion
    1 stick melted margarine
    1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
    1 (8 oz.) sour cream
    1-1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Put the thawed hash browns in a buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle onions on top.
    Mix together the margarine, soup and sour cream.
    Stir in grated cheese.
    Pour over potato and onion mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
