German Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium Jonathan apples, peeled and sliced
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. cooking oil
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. powdered sugar
    2 tsp. orange juice
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients together.
    Add eggs, oil, 1/2 cup juice and vanilla.
    Beat 10 minutes at low speed.
    Grease and flour an angel food cake pan.
    Pour half the batter in pan.
    Lay half the apples on top.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
    Repeat with remaining batter and apples.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    When cool, drizzle with powdered sugar and orange juice mixture over top.
