Easy Homemade Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    5 c. whole milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. whipping cream
    4 c. half and half
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat eggs until light.
    Add sugar gradually, beating until mixture thickens.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix thoroughly. Freeze in ice cream freezer.
    Makes 1 gallon.
