Maple Sugar Pears - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    15 oz. can pear halves
    1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Drain pears; reserve 1/4 cup liquid.
    Combine syrup, sugar and oil in a small saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice, maple flavoring and cinnamon.
    Arrange pear halves (cut side up) in a shallow baking dish.
    Pour mixture over all.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    When serving, top each pear with a dollop of sour cream.
