Seafoam Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. corn syrup
2/3 c. boiling water
Preparation

Boil first the sugar, syrup and water to hard boil stage, 248\u00b0 in candy thermometer.
Pour syrup gradually over stiffly beaten egg whites.
Add nuts, vanilla and salt.
Beat until it is creamy. Pour into buttered pan.
Cut when cool.
