Oysters And Wild Rice Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. uncooked wild rice
1 stick butter
2 pt. small oysters, well drained
salt and pepper to taste
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup
1 c. half and half
2 Tbsp. minced onion
3/4 tsp. thyme
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0. Butter a 9 x 13 baking dish. Rinse rice and cook according to package directions until open and soft. Drain well. Slice butter and mix with hot rice until butter has melted. Spread rice evenly in dish. Cover with oysters and sprinkle with salt and pepper. In small saucepan, heat soup and half and half. Add onion and thyme. Pour evenly over rice. Bake 45 minutes. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
