Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. cooking oil
    2 c. sugar
    3 large eggs
    3 c. flour, sifted with 1 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. soda
    3 c. raw chopped apples
    1 1/2 c. pecans or black walnuts
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Mix ingredients in order given and pour into greased 12 3/4 x 9-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 or 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Allow cake to remain in tube pan for 1 hour.
    Cover warm cake with following glaze.
