Seven Minute Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Combine all ingredients except vanilla in top of double boiler.
Cook over boiling water, beating constantly with electric mixer, about 7 minutes or until soft peaks form.
Stir in vanilla. Remove from heat; beat 1 minute more.
Use for icing Lane Cake.
