Ginger Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            1 c. syrup
 
1 c. shortening
pinch of salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 eggs
ginger to taste
1 c. flour (more if needed)
Preparation
- 
                            Beat syrup and soda together.
 
Pour into flour and work to a stiff dough.
Roll out and cut as desired.
Put on cookie sheet and cook to a golden brown.
