Pineapple Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    9 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice (1 c.)
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Stir shortening, sugar and egg until creamy. Add crushed pineapple with juice (about 1 cup).
