French Market Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. black beans*
    1/4 c. red beans*
    1/4 c. pinto beans*
    1/4 c. Great Northern beans*
    1/4 c. navy beans*
    1/4 c. green split peas*
    1/4 c. black-eyed peas*
    1/4 c. lentils*
    4 stalks celery, chopped
    1 large ham hock or ham bone
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 bay leaf
    2 tsp. salt or to taste
    1 heaping tsp. dried basil
    1/2 tsp. coarse black pepper
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    1/2 c. dry red wine
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 lb. sweet Italian sausage
    2 chicken breasts, cut in 1-inch chunks
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    pinch of sugar
Preparation
    *Can substitute any combination to equal 2 cups.
