Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 large chopped onion and 1 medium chopped green pepper (optional)
    1 (20 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (20 oz.) can kidney beans
    1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 to 1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Crumble and brown ground beef.
    Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 1 hour.
    Makes 4 servings.
    For 6 servings, use 2 cans kidney beans.
    May be served over white rice.
