Ingredients

30 Oreo cookies, crushed
1/4 c. melted margarine
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
2/3 c. sugar
2 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
1/4 c. margarine
small can evaporated milk (Pet)
1 tsp. vanilla
small Cool Whip
Preparation

Pat melted margarine and cookies in the bottom of an 11 x 14-inch cake pan.
Spread softened ice cream on top and put in freezer.
Melt sugar, chocolate and margarine together.
Gradually add 2/3 cup evaporated milk (small can) and stir until thickened. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Cool.
When cool, spread over ice cream. Freeze.
When chocolate layer is frozen, add a layer of Cool Whip and freeze.
