Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 potato, cooked in water, then mashed in its own water
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 large yeast cake
    1 1/2 qt. lukewarm water
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    12 c. flour
Preparation
    Heat 1 1/2 quarts water to lukewarm; crumble yeast into it. Add sugar, shortening and potato that has been cooked and mashed in its own water.
    Stir in flour which salt has been added to. Makes 6 to 8 small loaves.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
